I shared this on Instagram yesterday and think you guys should read it, by the way my Instagram and Twitter handle is @bride2mom, just incase you can’t get enough of me…lol I know Christmas is here again and I can only think of what the girl child goes through during this season, the pulling of the hair, wigs, weavon(why should a child fix weavon though) relaxer on the little or no hair they have, to form a bun(packing gel), some would wear makeup and most recently dress like adults. Please mum! Comb your kids low cut, dress them in their beautiful ball gowns not hugging outfits, use a hair bow or something to accessorize them. Don’t give their skulls stress, don’t make a hairstyle that would disturb their sleep, don’t dress them to look like adults, I can promise you that when Whitney Houston sang “let the children’s laughter reminds us how it used to be”, she was not referring to kids on serious makeup, burnt skull due to perm, tight dresses with suggestive slits, she was talking about the care free kids, the kids that are not scared to play in the sand because they fear they would lose their cute, the kids that laugh out loud without a care in the world. Let us let kids be kids, they are not the ones you would live your fashion dreams through, they are just kids.
