On the 12th of May, God blessed us with our beautiful daughter, Yes oh the second girl! Her name is Adesuwa, Adelle, Ehiremen, Ehiomo… I can go on but let me stop here. For the blog we would call her BabyA or Sisi Ferari, when we met finally, she was the fairest I have ever seen and I mean that literally. Knowing fully well that hubby and I are dark, it is safe to say “we never hexrpered it” if not that we were in the room when they handed her to us, it would have turned to a case of ‘if you ask me, na who i go ask?” we wouldn’t have believed the colour came out of dark usme, though someone thinks he is light-skinned o…MrPossible.
This pregnancy was different from babyJ in so many ways especially the fact that I felt I knew babyJ before I met her but for babyA, it felt like I had to meet her to know her, yeah she is porch like that, she was calm and pretty considerate, trust me if you had seen me when I was pregnant for babyJ, you would have been thrilled with Lady A’s pregnancy, I could function more, dress up, run errands and look great, babyJ had too much ‘gra-gra’like a Lagos girl while babyA was calm like one of the British royals saying “can I have a cup of tea please“(in British accent).
When I met her, I was so smitten, still is but would say there is a twist in the story though babyJ was feisty in the stomach, she came out and was so calm as a baby, almost did not cry and when she cried, it sounded cute to me sometimes but BabyA came in like the true feisty Lagos girl, she cries like someone is pulling her hair, you cannot ignore it, you pretty much feel it in your soul (joys of motherhood) hence we can say our genuine British royal was BabyJ…lol. As we are still getting to know ourselves, I feel there would be a lot of pregnancy diaries story soon… can I get a whoop whoop?!
Since babyA showed up, our lives have never been the same (positively though), just know that having a kid and two is very very different! I would gist you too, plenty plenty gist ahead, but for now, meet LadyA, our beautiful treasure!
