Getting the right guy doesn’t come easy for some of us and some of us are so blessed that we just get it right like it is a miracle…As the saying goes, most times you would have to kiss a whole lot of frog to find your Prince, though someone’s frog can be another’s prince, maybe it was just timing, age and other things that made him a frog then but  simply put he was not the frog for you to kiss that would turn into a Prince…Let us not get it wrong o, some people remain frogs for the rest of their lives and yeah they date or get married to someone who may know they are frogs or later find out and choose to live with it.

What comes to my mind with a topic like this is  ” What are guys nowadays thinking about us girls?
In those day, you would see a guy chase the girl, do her biddings, be all over her till she finally says yes but nowadays the story has changed, I don’t know who ‘rang a bell’ for the guys but they just feel that we are all hustlers in the market scrambling for one of the few guys to pick us and when he finally picks us, we have been liberated and it is now time for us to work to keep him, hence the constant slavery and master-servant relationship we find everywhere. Guys feel they are a gift to women and we should deal with whatever they serve us in the relationship
For example, my friend Funke is 28 and has been dating Tomi for sometime but all of a sudden, his stories are not adding up and now she’s began to suspect him to be a fraud as he has asked her for money one time or the other,  he has also bought like three engagement rings that she never saw, he travelled out according to him and calls her only midnight mtn call and never gave her a number to call him with, she has spoken to his ‘supposed mum’ whom he claims is abroad too and did I mention he bought her shoes and stuff from his trip that she never ever saw.
She  finally confronts him as things were not adding up and this is the conversation that ensues…
Funke: Tomi I can’t trust you, your stories are bogus, you have bought several engagement rings For me but never got to see them, I have been to your house only to find out its your friend’s, you are just too dodgy so let’s move on
Tomi; Haba Funke, no man is perfect, ask your mum, you manage what you see, your younger sister just got married oh and time is not on your side or have you forgotten your age?
Well Funke is now married to a MRRight o and he suits her just perfectly, they have been married for 4years now
Paul and Sola Story
Paul has been chasing Sola for a while, Sola is getting to know Paul and she really enjoys his company, she cannot lie, he has an amazing charisma but she has noticed that he has a temper and “touchy touchy spirit”, I guess Paul thinks every girl he ask out, is his to hold on the waist, the hand and from there relationship can start, he would want to hold her waist, her shoulder and it becomes a struggle to remove his hand…for a girl that has not said yes to you.
One day Paul offered to pick Sola from work so they would go for dinner, still on the chase oh. Sola gave him time for 4:30 and was delayed in the office till 5, Paul kept pinging her to hurry up for the whole 30minutes even though she had apologized that she was running late.
Sola finally got out and Paul was in a sour mood which he later apologized for
Getting to the restaurant after ordering food, Paul sprung it on Sola to pay, Sola being a Warri girl refused to, haba! it was his idea for them to go out and she knew he works in a good place, the cashier kept asking who would pay, all of a sudden, Paul decided to pay and told the cashier “Don’t mind this stingy bitch…” According to Sola she could not walk away, she just froze,  and not wanting to create a scene, knowing Paul was capable of anything at that point, she just walked to the table, ate her rice and chicken, Paul felt so guilty and apologized through out the meal, also he couldn’t eat, she accepted the apology. After the meal, she got into his car, he dropped her at home and that was the last time he heard from her o, she deleted him from her phone and severed all communication. He sent her a message on Facebook, years later still apologizing.
Because of husband see rubbish we go through.
Sola has been married for 3 years now with two kids to the love of her life(her MrRight), their relationship is enviable.
