I decided to go to the market, I have been hearing about oyingbo market since I moved to Lagos that if you buy 200naira pepper you cannot finish it and that is how I went to see for myself, I had to leave the house by 5:45 am as Mrpossible was going to work. Na so I reach market, well it wasn’t as cheap as I thought and somehow everyone thought I was Ibo and instead of asking they just speak the language directly to me,when I say I am not ibo they get surprised one even said if I am not Ibo then I married an igbo man, well, I did not or do you get the Ibo vibe from me too

Oh I met this guy called Usman, that is how he was following me around, first of all I thought he was being nice till he started putting my things in his basket then I realised he is what we call wheelbarrow guy in warri, the culture of a place differs, I remember one time when I went to a market in Lagos and I was telling the woman, “madam munni”and she spoke Yoruba asking what is munni, I kept trying to explain till I realized it was called fisi’, I wanna use ‘fisi’ finish in that oyingbo market.

As we went on buying, Usman was helping me negotiate and I was negotiating too so I felt Usman and I had a bond, he is Hausa and my best friend is Hausa, so I quickly took is number, it was when I was about to leave the market that I gave Usman 500 Naira thinking he would be so happy because I know that is not the normal amount but the the guy said no o, ‘Na 1500 I dey charge!’ Gees! My eye popped out. It is until the person with me  said I should not give Usman that much, that I relaxed, this is me that my money finished in the middle of a transaction, I almost wet my pant, you should ask why, it was a snail transaction, they have already broken the snail and next thing I just saw that money I had was no enough,Chai! I quickly called the guy with me, ” abeg Mr k, make we go find atm”  If you know the stress we went through dinding an atm that was working, you would pity me, thank God we found one before you guys would see me on Linda Ikeji with title” Upcoming blogger,bride2mom made to wash snail in the market as she could not pay for what she ordered!” They say bad publicity is better than no publicity at all but abeg I rather have no publicity o. I finally parted with 700 for Usman and realized what Usman and I shared what a business transaction, not friendship, afterall ‘nor be my friendship e go chop’

Oh it is babyJ’s Birthday on Thursday and she is three! She is saying a lot nowadays, I remember her first birthday, while trying to shop for her, I just sat down and started crying, lolll it was emotional that she was growing up lolllll. Mrpossible should be tired of all this my ‘cry cry‘ syndrome. Lollll.

BabyJ is in a Dora phase right now so she wants everything to be Dora and that is how I called a popular cake place for the kind of Dora cake I want and they gave me bill of 47k, Ha! Na project or Na Birthday? What happened to those day where my mum who did not know how to bake cake would make a semi bread/cake and wear us our favourite dress and we would take a picture even when the cake is burnt, we would get so excited eating it. Well, I will not buy a cake for that price o, some people even use less for their wedding cake. For the birthday shopping I went to Ikponrin market because they said it is cheap too, all this suffer from ikponrin to Oyingbo, I cannot say I saw a huge!!!!!!!!!! Difference o or did they cheat me?

Meanwhile is there anybody that is going through what I am going through, babyJ says ‘wee wee’ in the wrongest places, it is so bad that on Friday I had to come down from the car in Ajah traffic for her  to ease herself, then yesterday while queuing for fuel she said “poopoo” later she said “weewee”, I just had to beg her, “please just ‘weewee’ okay, dont poopoo yet” and thank God o, she obeyed and as soon as we got home she did her number2.

In other new, Otres restaurant retweeted my review of their restaurant oh…Yipppee! and that got me more views, ‘small small’ we shall climb higher. This year is or has come to an end, I pray all you are looking to get, you would get them before the year runs out. How was you weekend though?
