It comes every month! I was okay with it because I wanted to wait for a year before I even think of getting pregnant. I tell my friends I didn’t get married to produce children so let me enjoy my marriage first before children start coming… That wonderful day came when for the first time I missed my period!!!! I was in a friend’s house and when I told her I was to see my period that day and I had not, she took it as her duty to find out if I was pregnant (lol). She got me the pregnancy test kit to check but I wanted to check it at home with hubby first. I knew I was pregnant because I had never missed my period before that day. When I got home that evening, I told my hubby I was pregnant!  He was so excited and didn’t even remember to ask how I knew (Lol). I then told him I only missed my period and have not confirmed yet, so we decided to check and yes I was pregnant! I was soo excited I even forgot I wanted to wait for a year (lol)…. I went the next day and continued my normal duties without any sign at all. Infact I didn’t feel any sign of pregnancy until I was 4 months along when I had a fever. Then I started using pregnant care plus and registered for antenatal. I thought I will have to resign from work but 3 days later, I was as strong as ever. I decided to continue working which I did till I was 8 months along. I didn’t feel any pain, no vomiting, spitting etc. I was perfectly fine during my pregnancy except for my growing baby bump. I stayed at home from 8 months waiting for my delivery day (not advisable). I waited and waited and waited!  It was soo frustrating at that point because I just wanted that moment to come! Every call I got was to ask if the baby was here. My BP got so high and the doctor advised I be admitted and possibly do a Cesarean Section but by the next day evening, my cupcake (Daniel) came after lots and lots of screaming and even speaking yoruba that I don’t even know the meaning of (lol).
