Recently, I have been sleeping late hours because LadyA and BabyJ has not been feeling good, from cough and catarrh to fever, It seem like every child I know has cough and catarrh probably due to change of weather right? BabyJ brought it from school and since her sister’s cuteness is too much for her to handle, she just kept leaning in and placing a kiss everywhere, I wish it stopped there but as parents we take our kissing duties very serious, so we also kept laying kisses on them and that resulted in everybody coming down with a cold but the reality about life is that babyJ and LadyA are the only people that can legitimately say they are sick as for MrPossible and I, who dash monkey banana? All we have to do is be strong…I miss those days when I fall sick and my mum would  make pepper soup for me or MrPossible would be all over the place now being a mother of two, the guy cannot shout, he would go like “Babe take panadol o, if not you would be knocked out tomorrow and you cannot get up and in my head I go “what if I don’t want to get up, what if I just want to sleep in?” well that ship has sailed a long time ago, there is no sleeping in when you have two kids, you have to get up and be strong.Don’t mind my long sermon o, that is not even the gist I wanted to give. You know they say that women are their own worst enemy but guys are just so cool, that is what they said o but is it true? With all the running arounds I have had recently,I forgot babyJ had her old-school day in school, on the supposed day I quickly dropped her off in school and was taking LadyA to the hospital as she had a fever all night and you know when your kids are sick, you are  literally sick. As I tried to drop babyJ , I noticed a parent with wigs and old school stuff for her kids and in my heart, I am praying “dear Lord today shouldn’t be the day please!!!!!” I braced up myself to ask the lady and she said, yes it was that day, I was sad as my daughter was on a T-shirt,a short and a black legging under her shorts, I told the lady that I totally forgot and next thing she was like “how did you forget now? didn’t you see the mails, they kept sending them, didn’t you read them…So what would you do now?” say what now? What happened to “it happens to the best of us” did she know my kids have been sick, did she know that I was pretty much rushing one of them to the hospital, she did not know and did not care to ask, she just assumed I was not paying attention and thought I needed to be schooled but just imagine if it was two guys that met, I can Imagine what their conversation would be like GUY1:” Guy, I totally forgot today was the old school day o”, GUY2: erm….Don’t worry na, just check your car if anything dey there, if nothing; then chill, she will not even notice, I almost forgot myself” So ladies, why can’t we be friends? Well at the end, I gave babyJ my sunglasses and she almost looked old school, the leggings and  trainer and the big sunglasses just blended into the theme and as soon as she entered her class, the teacher started sing “hip pop hurrah oh ay oh ay” That made my day.
