Work

I remember i told you guys that I started doing something new and that is why I have been quiet for a while. So apart from the fact that we moved houses to an estate that pretty much screams Wisteria lane like the Desperate housewives show, I also started my catering fully, so I deliver breakfast and lunch to companies daily, also I do corporate parties and other gigs… Work has been fun, tedious and really eye-opening, as I have learnt patience and I have taken a lot of things, I call them the knowledge pain; I have been talked to without regards, I have been double-crossed and  above all, I have grown very well. So you can imagine how busy I am during the day, that is why I leave blogging to either very early hours of the morning or late at night. What have you been up to though?

 Vaccination

I almost forgot Lady A was due for her vaccination, but  I made it there on time for her 15th month vaccine yesterday, yes o, Lady A has grown so much, she calls me Mama and whenever I hear her say that, my heart melts, it is really soooo cute. We got there for vaccine and after a few tears shed from the prick of the needle, she already moved on and started playing again. I am not a big fan of pumping kids with drugs except totally needed and because she did not have a fever, I did not give her any drug, just for her to start itching in the evening, she was unnecessarily cranky, wouldn’t eat and had a rash that she kept on scratching, I have never seen babyJ react to a vaccination, so you can imagine my shock that Lady A did. The vaccine was MMR, (Measles Rubella and Mumps) has any of your kids reacted in a different wy to a vaccination and what did you do?

  Kids

BabyJ has grown up so much and she says the most ridiculous things nowadays, as she is expressing herself more, first of all, don’t even try calling her a baby, she would be so upset and tell you “I am not a baby, I am a girl” lolll! Somedays ago, I came home and she said “mummy, I am so worried(holding her head to show how worried she was) she repeated it again and I ask her “why are you worried dear” She said “I am worried, I cannot find my slippers”. Today I took them to the supermarket as babyJ loves to shop, oh i already feel for her dad,  so I took both of them for a quick biscuit and bread shopping, while we were on our way back, BabyJ and LadyA got into an argument (dragging a toy) and when Lady A saw she was losing, she tried to bite BabyJ and the next thing I heard her say was “Don’t bite me, Don’t bite me, I am not a carrot!” Kids actually say the darndest things right? What are the things your kids have done or said that amazed you?
